My first digital scrapbooking layout for Kristine’s Creative Team was the above LO.
This is my son’s beloved Guinea Pig, Hammy.
Hammy passed away yesterday.
Hunter’s upset about it - he loved his Hammy.
We had his funeral today out at my brother in law’s house. He’s buried in the family pet graveyard.
I miss him squeaking at me for his carrots…
Carrot time came and went tonight without a single peep.
He really was a wonderful pet, who always made me smile.
I miss the little rascal something fierce.
You did good, Hammy.
You loved a little boy who loved you more than anything.
Rest in peace, and enjoy all those after life carrots you earned.
I’ll never forget you.

I can totally relate. I had a bunny rabbit for a pet for about 8 years. I didn’t want to get the critter but my girls talked me into it and she became my responsibility. She really had her own personality and we actually connected ( at least I think we did ) … I just thought we understood each other. She would actually stop and look at me when I was talking to her about not chewing on the mouse cord. I cried and cried when she passed so I thank you for sharing about your Hammy the Wonder Pet
Cindyrellys last blog post..Whoops :O
Thinking of Hammy and the McGilberrys……
MWah!
Awww love the layout you made for Hammy! Hope your son is doing OK. Kids usually bounce very easily & quickly! So, what’s your next pet going to be? LOL
